2025 Election

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, residents of Lakeland vote to fill five (5) City Commissioner seats, including Mayor.

All filed and qualified candidates will receive an invitation to participate in the BusinessVoice interview process in early October. Candidates will be invited to complete a questionnaire designed to highlight their knowledge of the issues facing the office they are seeking. Once completed, candidate questionnaires will be linked below as PDFs.

• Candidate Qualifying: September 15, 12:00 p.m. - September 19, 2025, 12:00 p.m
• Voter Registration Deadline: EOD October 6
• Vote-By-Mail Deadline: October 23
• Walk-In Voting: October 27 - October 31, 8:30 - 4:30 p.m. *Lakeland Location: Polk County Govt. Center, 930 E. Parker St., Lakeland, FL 33801*
• Election Day: November 4
